The Alentejo 2030 Programme has launched a new call for tenders for Collective Actions – Internationalisation of companies, with applications due by 15 January 2024.
The Call ALT2030-2023-8 aims to support individual or co-promoted projects in the field of internationalisation, provided they enhance the capacity of economic activities in terms of outlining internationalisation strategies and market approaches.
The aim is to strengthen their competitive capacity and progression in the value chain, as well as the international visibility of the offer, and narrowing the gap between the intrinsic quality of goods and services and the quality perceived by the markets, in the following dimensions:
- Prospection, knowledge, and access to new markets;
- Collaborative processes for internationalisation, knowledge sharing, and capacity building for internationalisation;
- International promotion of tourist destinations and other products and resources associated with the region.
Beneficiaries under this Call for Tenders include:
- Business associations and tourist promotion agencies;
- Agencies and public entities, including associative entities, with competencies in the fields of economic development strategy management, tourism, as well as in the promotion of digitalisation and internationalisation.
- Private non-profit entities that pursue objectives of public interest and have established partnerships with the aforementioned entities to pursue public policies of an entrepreneurial nature;
- Other public entities and other non-profit entities when participating in co-promoted projects with one of the aforementioned entities, provided this is justified by the nature of the operation.
Eligible operation are those falling within sectors with Internationalisation Potential, as provided for in EREI 2030 for Alentejo, such as: Mineral Resources, Cork Oak Forests, Agri-food, Aeronautics, and Tourism Services.
