The Technical Assistance Programme, PAT 2030, has opened a call for ‘Training actions on assessing the risk of fraud and measures to be taken to prevent and combat fraud in European funds’ with applications open until 29 December.
The Call PAT2030-2023-12 is intended to support capacity-building programmes in the areas of risk management and preventing and combating fraud aimed at the Portugal 2030 Managing Authorities, intermediate organisations, the technical coordination body and other relevant entities in the implementation of Portugal 2030.
Eligible actions fall under the Programme’s ‘Empowering the Funds’ Ecosystem’ action typology and are priority eligible actions:
- Actions to increase the levels of preparation, knowledge and capacity to act of the entities that make up the Funds’ ecosystem;
- Actions to improve the scope and quality of public policy and strategic planning instruments.
Public organisations with direct responsibility for preventing and combating fraud, as part of their organisational structure and/or within the framework of the ‘National Anti-Fraud Strategy for preventing and combating fraud in the application of the Funds of the European Union Budget for the period 2023-2027’ are eligible to apply.
The application is to be submitted between 27 November and 29 December 2023, until 06pm.
